How much should I practice?

I recommend that for any beginners including children, that they commit to at least 15 minutes every single day. At the beginning stage, it is and how much time he practice but that you practice consistently over a long period of time.

I recommend that the students set aside a certain set time every single day at the same time. So for instance, you can commit to practicing from 7 to 7:15 PM weekdays. Or, the practices as soon as you come home from school, or after dinner is finished.. The point is that you your mind will be set that you have something to do on a regular basis.

It does not benefit practice to skip all week and then think that you can spend two hours on Saturday and make up for it. Of course there are days when you just can't practice. But again, as long as it's consistent for a long period of time you will see results.
