Mr. Cullen is on staff at the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts' Covington School of Music where he teaches many programs including jazz studies piano saxophone/winds jazz ensemble theory improvisation arranging and composition. Mr. Cullen is a member of The American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). He is available for new commissions private instruction performances studio work etc.
Mr. Cullen enjoys working with the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts because it is the goal of the Academy to provide students of all ages with the tools needed to enjoy music for a lifetime.
Since 1978 thousands of students have taken music lessons with Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts at the three school locations located in Jefferson and St. Tammany Parishes.
All instructors on staff are university trained professionals in their respective areas of expertise. All Faculty members hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Music. Many hold or are currently working towards either Master of Music or Doctor of Musical Arts degrees.
