From a wealth of professional singing directing and teaching experience I've developed an approach to vocal pedagogy that is holistic (using body mind voice and spirit) and individualized to each student's needs and stylistic preferences. The goal of healthy free and beautiful singing can be achieved by learning your own body's ideal alignment for greater breath control by developing your 'inner' hearing and by proper vocal and musical preparation. Ms. Lansing provides a course of study using your own unique talents -- body voice and mind -- to: * Improve body alignment breath support and control * Expand your vocal range * Release tensions and maintain relaxed yet dynamic vocal production * Broaden musical repertoire focusing on your interests whether contemporary or classical * Increase musicality sight-singing and reading skills * Improve diction English and foreign languages (French Italian German Herbrew Latin Spanish) * Build self confidence and composure in performance * Increase your singing enjoyment whether you are a solo performer or a chorus At an early age Ms. Lansing began voice lessons with her father Robert Lansing (well-known Denver voice teacher and choral conductor) and performed her debut recital in Denver at age 15 She received the Emma Eames scholarship and completed Bachelor and Masters degrees in Voice at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.
