I love singing, music, and all aspects of performing. Sharing this joy with others is a delight. I began singing and piano at the young age of 3. I performed in community theater musicals and plays during my elementary and high school education as well as church choir, pops choir, high school choir and band (french horn). Music has been my life ever since.
I studied voice at St. Olaf College with a minor in piano and acting. I went on to Boston University for my Master's Degree in Vocal performance. My performing career took off in 1999 when I won two prestigious awards. The Boston University Kahn Award for the arts and the Metropolitan National Council Auditions for Operatic Voice.
Since then I have been performing internationally at various operatic houses including Santa Fe Opera, Minnesota Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera National de Santiago, Chile, Western Australia Opera, and Musik och Teatre Malmo, Sweden to name a have also performed on Broadway as Mimi in Baz Luhrmann's La Boheme. This was a singing-actors delight to work with such a master.
I also enjoy giving master classes in singing, and teaching privately. I have devoted my life to performing and have studied everything I can get my hands on to help me with this endeavor. Now I am looking to pass on my information to others.
