DANNY FARAGHER

BIOGRAPHY -
Danny began performing in a band at the age of thirteen and cut his first record at eighteen. As a member of The Peppermint Trolley Co. he had his first hit when he was twenty ?'Baby You Come Rolling ?Cross My Mind'.That same year the band put out an album and recorded the theme song for the Brady Bunch television show. In subsequent years he released another six LPs and a number of singles with his bands Bones and The Faragher Brothers. Two of the Faragher LPs have been reissued as CDs on Sony. In 2009 Cherry Red records released a cd reissue of the Peppermint Trolley album entitled 'Beautiful Sun'.
He has appeared on The Beverly Hillbillies Mannix Dick Clark?s American Bandstand and Soul Train. He has written and performed music for 'The Facts of Life' and 'Who?s the Boss' and has also sung and played on the recordings of Ringo Starr Martha Reeves Kiss Camper Van Beethoven Melissa Manchester The Pointer Sisters Full Swing and others. He was the musical director for the musical'Working' at Santa Monica?s Mayfair Theater along with acting and singing in the play.
Danny was a featured vocalist with the LA Jazz Choir and sings every Holiday Season with the Caroling Company an a cappella group featured on the Adams Family Movie. He has a vocal group Daddy Cool and also performs in concert as a solo singer- songwriter.

VOICE
Everyone has their own unique voice. My goal is to help bring that voice out and through proper technique and exercise to make it strong and expressive. You?ll learn breath control correct cord tension and tone placement. We run through warm-ups and workouts together and sing a song every week. The sessions are fun. I can also coach you on microphone technique and performance. Demo recording in the studio is an option as well.
PIANO -
You?ll learn how to read notation and to develop good fingering technique. In no time you?ll be playing songs. Musical theory and rhythm are covered in the course of the lesson. Once you have gotten the fundamentals down we can focus on particular styles: Classical Pop Jazz Blues Rock Country etc.
HARMONICA -
You?ll sound like a pro bending notes and playing shakes whahs and wails. You?ll also dig learning essential techniques such as tongue blocking lipping and chording and how to apply these skills to different genres: Blues Country Rock or Folk. You?ll have fun discovering the wide range this li?l ax has to offer from the sweet and sublime to the down and dirty. Bring a 'C' diatonic harmonica. Harmonica lessons are available through Skype.
