American soprano Arden Kaywin is one of the few voice professionals able to bridge the gap between classical 'bel canto' vocal technique and the demands of the contemporary singer. Her career experience as both a conservatory trained opera singer and a contemporary pop recording artist & songwriter gives her a unique perspective well suited to technically nurture and artistically inspire the vocal artists she works with. Arden teaches a multi-genre approach that blends a healthy vocal technique with each student's own individual singing talents and style. Her teaching philosophy centers around giving students the tools to find a consistently supported breath energy and resonance that serves them for any style of music they sing.
As a singer and recording artist herself Miss Kaywin's experience on stage and both sides of the microphone is extremely valuable to her clients. She is an accomplished pop singer/songwriter with songs featured on numerous television shows on MTV NBC ABC and The CW networks including the show Deliver Me on Discovery Channel for which she wrote and performed the theme song. Accolades include a nomination for Pop Song of the Year by the Independent Music Awards Musiqtone's Indie Artist of the Year Award Next Big Hit - Top 10 Albums of 2008 and Rockwired Reader's Poll for Best Album Best Female Artist and Best Song for 'Let It Go'.
Miss Kaywin is also an accomplished classical singer having performed roles with major opera companies across the country including Opera Theater of The San Francisco Opera Brooklyn Academy of Music and The Aspen Opera Theater. She was a Metropolitan Opera National Council Award regional finalist in 2003 and 2004.
